Nice vest. The heating element works pretty good. I was able to cut it off after about 20 minutes and the reflective panels held the heat in pretty well. It fits perfectly and looks nice. It has a pocket for your battery pack and the on/off button is easy to get to on the left chest area, but it glows red, so I would rather it be somewhere else so it isn't so obvious, but no big deal overall. Overall, it does what it advertises, so 5 stars!

I bought this as a gift for my dad, and I tested it before giving it to him. The vest is very lightweight and soft. I can't feel the heating wire inside the vest, and it is very flexible. When I turn on the vest, it heats up faster than expected. I can feel the warmth in about a minute, and it does achieve the highest temperature in about 5 minutes. Since this vest is hand wash only, I think it is better to wear it between a shirt and a jacket. I think less washing may able to extend the live of the vest. BTW, my dad loves it.

Bought this for my wife who often feels colder than I do. It is lightweight and comfortable; the size is good on her except she says it's a bit snug where it goes over her hips. You do need to wear at least a shirt underneath it to protect from direct contact with the heating elements. Once you hook this up to your own battery pack and switch it on, it gets warm almost instantly. The high setting was a little too warm for around the house but would be perfect in the cold outdoors. It's very lightweight and ran for hours on a 10,000 maH battery pack. She says it's very nice, and she wears it all the time!

I usually turn it on low and once it heats up I can usually turn it off as it keeps me nice and warm.
